Marwa Awwad - El Baba Lawyers

Marwa is a fourth-year law student and joined El Baba Lawyers in April of 2023. She is currently studying a Bachelor of Law and Bachelor of Arts (English) at Western Sydney University.   Her curiosity about the legal field was first ignited during her high school years when she delved into the subject of Legal Studies. Over time, this fascination transformed into a deep-seated commitment for advocacy, encompassing both social justice issues and family law matters. Given her Palestinian heritage, Marwa holds a strong, ingrained dedication to opposing social injustice and gaining knowledge about international humanitarian law.   Marwa’s exceptional attention to detail and her ability to conduct precise legal research have provided her with a competitive advantage when assisting our solicitors with the firm’s clients. She aspires to redirect her efforts towards championing the Palestinian cause and expanding her career in the field of family law.
